A Word From The Pastor

God Bless you for making this important commitment to fast and pray for a period. Over the next 14 days, I will be praying with you and for you. The Lord spoke to me and declared for us to begin . by fasting and prayer.

The next 14 days will be a challenge. Your flesh is going to scream and say “I don’t want to fast or pray. But through the Power of the Holy Spirit you will overcome. This will happen as you feed your spirit daily with God’s Word. Remember, as you are obeying the Lord Jesus Christ daily, your brothers and sisters in Christ, and I will be laboring with you in prayer.

The Goal of this Fast is to Honor God first as we enter into this new year and to ask for the Holy Spirit to guide our congregation in as we see the harvest come forth in souls, blessings, and miracles, that can only be produced through corporate committed fasting and prayer.

In Love and ministry,

-Pastor Eric Patterson, LTCC

Week One Summary

Addressing Prayerlessness

Forgiveness, Faith, & Commitment:

In “Mighty Prevailing Power”, Duewel (pg. 29) describes that knowing what our master wants and failing to do it is sin (Luke 12:47). That there are sins of commissions that  we commit and omission that we omit or leave undone. Read 1 Samuel 12:23, James 4:17 and understand that in our walk with Christ, the Holy Spirit seeks to remind us of what we should do (Duewel, 1990) and that failing to pray significantly weakens our spiritual life, allowing the enemy (Satan) to rob us of God’s blessings and us to forfeit the supernatural victory Christ has already won for His people.
